Want a Second Opinion?

Frustrated by the impact of Neuropathy on your life? Remaining active greatly impacts quality of life, which is compromised when your feet are in excruciating pain, and they become very sensitive, or they become so numb that it causes difficulty moving around. If not treated symptoms can get to the point where it’s difficult to walk, drive, work, exercise, or continue to dance, play golf or tennis.

If you have visited a doctor and been told there is nothing that can be done or your medication is not working, ask Dr. Perkins for a second opinion. We may just have the answers you’ve desperately been seeking!

CLASS IV LASER

One of the treatments utilized in our center, Class IV Laser can alleviate pain, reduce inflammation and accelerate recovery. The main goal of treatment for debilitating conditions, such as Neuropathy, is to facilitate improved function and mobility.

In addition to ATP production for better nerve function, laser stimulation also produces free nitric oxide, a powerful vasodilator and an important cellular signaling molecule involved in many physiological processes.

The fundamental principles that underpin Class IV Laser treatment as currently understood in the scientific literature, are relatively straightforward. In concert, the production of these signaling molecules has been shown to induce growth factor production, to increase cell proliferation and motility, and to promote extracellular matrix deposition.

There is a consensus that the application of a therapeutic dose of light to impaired or dysfunctional tissue leads to a cellular response mediated by mitochondrial mechanisms that reduce pain and inflammation and speed healing.

We have utilized Class IV Laser over 10 years, with amazing results!
